CAG has partnered with North American Rescue to bring you a high quality low cost IFAK, designed by Seasoned Special Forces medics for you at home. The CAGT1MP is a compact, durable and easy-to-open vacuum sealed kit that contains the essential items to treat the 3 leading causes of preventable death – extremity hemorrhage, airway obstruction and tension pneumothorax. Designed to fit into a BDU pocket or IFAK pouch, the CAGT1MP is packaged in a clear bag to allow easy visualization of the kit contents while protecting the items from the elements.
If preferred, the contents can also be removed from the vacuum sealed packaging to re-stock an existing IFAK. The CAGT1MP features the everything you need for a full MARCH assessment under TCCC guidelines. Together with critical hemorrhage control, the CAGT1MP also addresses airway and breathing management as well as hypothermia for the delayed evacuation that comes with isolation and adventure.

Tailored to the needs of combat and tactical medical personnel, this hemostatic dressing combines surgical gauze with a proprietary inorganic material to deliver three important benefits. It stops blood flow. It’s inert. It’s non-allergenic.
The material, pliable and familiar to medical personnel, can be fitted to any size or shape wound (including penetrating wounds). Plus, it is easily removed once clotting has taken place. Combat Gauze® comes in rolls four yards long by three inches wide.

For the upgraded ARS for Needle Decompression from North American Rescue, the best minds in the field were applied to the best available data. The result? Our patented design improves the probability of success when managing casualties who present with signs and symptoms of a tension pneumothorax. To achieve this end, we participated in a two-year collaboration with pre-hospital providers. We continuously analyzed data obtained from ongoing combat operations for patients whose symptoms suggested a collapsed lung (difficulty in breathing, chest drains, etc.). We applied the Analytical Thinking, Evidence-based Medicine and Human Factors engineering model to identify inherent survival stress behaviors. Then, North American Rescue went one step further. We incorporated failsafe characteristics into the product design. For example, an easy-open container protects the needle from damage during deployment. Also, we removed the flash cap from the needle system to allow immediate confirmation of placement.
