Step hard and pull.... If you're in a survival situation consider cutting the skin into strips so you can bait up for the next meal in your trap line. But once you start you have to commit for the sake of giving the chicken a humane kill. This is a good way to harvest an animal if you're a little hesitant to get your hands dirty.
