THE LEADERSHIP FUNCTIONAL AREA

"Everyone a Leader, Everyone a Teacher!" This is the Core of CAGs competencies derived from our Special Forces founders.

The Leadership Functional area is focused on improving the Core Competency skills of the members of CAG "A-teams" to expand their capabilities and effectiveness within their communities.

The CAG Leadership Training Program

The goal and focus of the Leadership Program is to provide all members of the CAG "A-Teams" with the continuing education and skills to be better leaders for their teams, their families, and their communities. Also to produce, mentor and foster subject matter experts among the teams to become trainers in their own right.

Emphasis in this program is in the following areas:

  • Basic Leadership Skills for Small Volunteer Groups
  • Advanced Leadership Skills in Crisis/Disaster Situations
  • Basic Recruiting Techniques
  • Basic Crisis/Disaster Psychology
  • Operational Area Intelligence Management
  • Basic Instructor Skills for Trainers

Small, Volunteer Group Leadership, Train-the-Trainer, and Recruiting skills make better leaders for our members! These skills will better prepare CAG A-Team members to function more effectively in core Leadership and Subject Matter Expert competencies in a Crisis/Disaster situation.

The CAG Leadership Training Program is a NON-Tab Producing Functional Area
